Bunny's (New) Bug!

Well, some of you may know I've been working on a '74 Bug called "Bunny's Bug", cuz it's for my woman... Well, she needed a daily driver right away & the '74 is far from being completed, so, we went out looking for a new car for her. She picked out a 2004 Beetle. It's in beautifull shape & she's as happy as can be!

Anyone know good or bad things about these little buggers?

Re: Bunny's (New) Bug!

My girlfriend had a 2000 1.8t for 5 years, and the only problems she had with it were the MAF sensor, and the catalytic converter had to be replaced, but that was under warranty. The airbag light was on when she got rid of it, we never did find out what was causing it though. Never even had a coilpack or window regulator go bad

It was a very fun car. I actually kinda miss it. The looks you get when people see a Beetle, and then hear a turbo spool are priceless

Re: Bunny's (New) Bug!

I was hoping she'd a get a Turbo Beetle, but, it was the only Beetle on the lot we went to. She wasn't really even looking for a Bug. She wanted a Cabrio, cuz of the Convertible... So far the car is pretty nice! I believe it's a 1.7l motor.
