Re: Enter project Cabrioghey

So, i am starting to think about wheels. The cheaper the better. I keep looking through Craigslist, vortex classifieds, etc. I am thinking 15 would be perfect. BBS RA's are always an option if i find them for the right price. I would love to rock a Rota RB/Konig Rewind/Pannasport wheel:

These have me thinking

or these

I am looking for an older style wheel, cheaper the better. I dont care if they are replica wheels, im not a brand whore, as long as they look good i am set. I am looking to keep it under $600 for wheels and tires. Of course this is somewhat flexible, but like i said, the cheaper the better. Suggestions

Re: Enter project Cabrioghey

As some of you know, i was able to pick up a new to me top and frame at the dustoff. I have had a feeling that the frame on mine is tweaked and i really didnt want to recover a top. top is about an 8 out of 10, couple little spots that need attention, but for those of you who know what my top looked like, its a big upgrade. hopefully it goes on the car Wednesday, when i have some timeoff as well as the help of my father. Saturday i am hoping to have the chance to put the quarter flares and duck bill on.

As always, pictures will document progress

Re: Enter project Cabrioghey

I felt bad offering $50 for the top because i knew it was a good deal at $150...then i found out that the guys i bought it from scored a 2001 VR with 80,000 on it for free.
